Join Feeding Northeast Florida for Empty Bowls 2018 taking place at the Jacksonville Main Public Library downtown on Friday, November 2nd from 11:30am – 1:00pm. Empty Bowls is a humble, community-based event in which people come together to enjoy a meal of various soups, breads, and desserts provided by Jacksonville’s finest local restaurants. This luncheon event serves as a reminder of those who are facing food insecurity among us. Each participant takes home a hand crafted bowl made by local students of all ages. This event has been missing from Jacksonville and this year, Feeding Northeast Florida is bringing it back!
